THE GOFER

The Gofer is an autonomous urban delivery vehicle.

Inspired by rickshaws and services such as Postmates and Amazon Lockers, the Gofer is an ultralight vehicle that can safely navigate bike lanes and even sidewalks at low speeds.

Rather than rely on multiple delivery people and services to solve the last mile problem, the Gofers use advanced logistics algorithms to bundle and unbundle orders while in transit.

A food delivery vehicle can meet with a liquor delivery vehicle anywhere (like FedEx or UPS does currently) to combine a takeout order and reduce congestion and miles traveled by both vehicles.

Designed to be highly modular for ease of maintenance, and ultralight for safety and efficiency, the Gofer represents a new class of vehicle that is optimized purely for cargo, freed from the regulations brought on by human occupancy.

While drones make compelling headlines, surface travel will always be the most efficient means of navigation, without the need for lift.
